I'm an agent in the NE and it is an "unspoken" policy that most agents -- especially top selling agents -- do not waste their time with discount broker listings...let's face it, it's a very human response...you show something that can make you a $15,000 commission instead of $1500.
I started years ago when the MLS was optional and nobody knew about an internet -- now when you join an office EVERYONE has to pay the fee to become a "realtor" to have access to local listings -- seems like they're headed toward more power in Washington than the cigarette manufacturers had years ago.
